1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup white flour 3/4 tsp salt 3/4 tsp soda 2 heaping Tbsp crisco ( I substitute butter instead) 3/4 cup cold water 3 Tbsp honey Mix like pie crust, knead dough, rollout (1/4") and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 degrees F for about 15 minutes. Enjoy with lots of butter smeared on every bite! Our church uses this recipe for communion once a month and Natalie wanted me to make some at home! Every since them - we have enjoyed this recipe over and over again - very good and tasty! I send more later! Oh, the recipe for the whole wheat super flour is below: For every 1 cup of white flour substitute instead the following: add: 1 tsp of brewers yeast 1 Tbsp of wheat germ 1 Tbsp of soy flour top off the rest of the cup with whole wheat flour |
