 This is a photo from the roof of my house. Looking south, down the Chippewa River valley. It is a great view from up there. I would really like to put a door up, and onto the roof from the fourth floor storage space in my house. It would be great to go up there and enjoy the view whenever I wanted. It seems like a great place to contimplate life.
It would be even better yet to have a deck up there. A couple of deck chairs, and I would be set! It would solve the need we have in this house of having a view during the summer time. As it is, we have a good view after the leaves have dropped in the fall, but during the summer, we only see the green wall. Granted, that can be a good thing as well. We have pretty much complete privacy in the summer. (Did someone say nude sunbathing?) And it is not just visual either, the leaves block a lot of the noise from the highway down below. But, we find we miss seeing the river.
