Band History

In 1996, EC was the sight of a blues explosion. The Crawlin Kingsnakes slithered onto the scene bringing with them a unique blend of blues, rock, funk, and jazz. The band played hundreds of shows over their 6-year existence including a few at First Avenue in Minneapolis. They opened for the likes of Junior Wells, Robert Guitar Junior Johnson, and Howard and the White Boys. In 2000, their debut CD Foolin Yourself made waves in the local scene. Like any good story, the Kingsnakes came to an end in 2001.

Like the Phoenix from the ashes, many members of the Kingsnakes heeded the call of the blues and re-formed as the Eau Claire Blues All-Stars. The first show was in January of 2002 at the House of Rock. Since then, the All-Stars have whipped crowds into a punch drunk state of blues bliss. This crew of seasoned musicians bring decades of stage experience and are sure to leave you begging for more.
