Early life

Greg Gilbertson is best known for his solo acoustic guitar work. Playing in theaters and churches, his complex finger picking style is made for large halls.

As a band artist, in the band Old Fashioneds he plays a Fender Telecaster. Soloing, he played in a very note intensive style. Each note being bright and clear.

He describes himself:

I'm an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter from Chippewa 
Falls, WI. I've been married to the wonderful Gabrielle for over a 
decade. I'm the father of three little girls, a fisherman, a scuba 
diver, and a Packers fan. I deliver sheetrock for a warehouse, have 
a bit of a temper, and drive a pickup. I tend toward Christian 
nonviolence, poverty, justice, and Leinenkugel's beer.
