Leiah Webb warms up for Deedles at the Mousetrap Bar, Eau Claire Wisconsin, February 2010

Leiah Webb tried to learn music early in life. She trys to take chances and never be someone she is not. She began to take piano lessons at age 10, and guitar lessons from her father, when she was 12. That opened the door to her love of music and performing.

She led some music at church in 1998, started a band with her brother & friends called Shanta Klare in 2000, Toured the United States with Madison Greene a Celtic/Tribal band from Detroit, MI from 21 to 25, came back to Wisconsin and led music at church until

In December 2008, she joined a bluegrass band and played mandolin and sang & toured a little with a high energy bluegrass band based out of Eau Claire called EverGreen Grass Band until September 2009.

She is now playing solo, while working on a new project with some AMAZING musicians from Eau Claire, WI. Ryan, Chris, and Mark.

Her songwriting is deeply personal, but I believe it relates to many different people in different walks of life. I'm also currently working on reforming old pieces, I wrote even back when I was a pre-teen.

Leiah is a Chippewa Falls native who is known for a deep singing voice.
