Band History

The Excellent Adventure is made up of five dudes who enjoy a mutual interest in loud music and drinking. Dan and Bill have been in such bands as Day Old Bread, The Space Rangers and The Three Amigos. Billy Angell has been along for the ride since the Day Old Bread days. While Beau and John have solidified the band as something different from the previous incarnations and have elevated the music to a new level.

The Excellent Adventure started about two years ago out of the Tuesday night open jams at the Stones Throw and impromtu performances at the Mousetrap. We try to play happy upbeat rock and roll with the occasional slow turn your lights down low get the audience laid kind of song. We hope you enjoy the tunes we've posted and our album will be out soon. Hope to see you all in the not to distant future.
